SATURDAY FAVORITES!

Saturday afternoon I felt like making a fancy dinner. I was craving garlic shrimp with pasta and a glass of wine just like at Olive Garden. But with a 4 year old and a 2 year old sometimes is best to skip the long wait and crowded restaurant and stay home. I made pasta with shrimp and garlic cheesy bread with lots of garlic, onions and olive oil which are my very favorites. I like to make my own cheesy garlic bread, but this time around we were super hungry and could not wait any longer so we had the already made garlic cheesy bread. I tried to set up the table but let's just say that didn't go very well lol! I was cooking doing dishes and trying to stop to little boys from running from the living room to the kitchen and from the kitchen to the bathroom..lol 

After about 30 mins or so dinner was made and done. The only problem there was we were out of wine. So I had my Sprite on a wine glass. Hey why not!? We really enjoy having little family dates like these, I get to listen to Marcos funny little stories while Micah kept asking to blow the candle. All you hear from Micah was "mama happy birthday to uuu" mama happy birthday to uuuh" and all because he wanted to to blow our dinner candle. Lol He thinks every lit candle means we are celebrating a birthday! hahha Now how cute is my baby!?  Marcos decided that Daddy was Dada Pig I was Mami Pig, Micah was little George and and he was Pepa pig himself he really had me laughing in tears. Micah is such a good eater he asked for more shrimp and pasta and daddy was too busy stuffing his face lol really!  After dinner we sat on the couch we read a few books and practice shapes and colors with Micah they really enjoy doing these kind of things with their mama and I don't blame them!!! We then had dessert (chocolate chip icecream) with sprinkles. Family time is so important, it is the the best quality time you can have with your love ones, no matter what you are doing. Especially when work all week long. But I am happy and thankful for this beautiful and happy Saturday we had. Here are a few photos to go with our description hahha!
